Elevate, because life is

Paul Schulte-Hunsbeck — Portrait

Co-Founder & COO at AVA Dental. Investor and advisor at PCSH-Systems and Fachkraft Robotics. Health as primary asset, longevity as filter, AI arbitrage of the German Mittelstand as the playing field.

I. About

One decision.

Paul Schulte-Hunsbeck — Lesend
Responsibility — held by self-compassion.

The principle

For every action, every choice, every outcome. Since that decision I systematically improve what is within my reach — as operator, investor, partner, human being.

The foundation

Health is my primary asset. Disciplined routine, measured blood markers, hard training phases, sleep as a KPI. The precondition for the twenty years of work still ahead. No body, no output. No routine, no productivity.

The work

AVA Dental as operational home. Passive holdings: PCSH-Systems, Fachkraft Robotics. Themes: health, longevity, AI arbitrage of the German Mittelstand.

Before

Three years of own companies in Delaware & Florida, shut down end of 2024. Hardest school of my life — and the sharpest filter for every decision today.

II. What I'm building

Operator. Investor. Co-Founder.

2021 — 2024

2021–2024 in Delaware & Florida: Noura — iOS tracking platform.

III. Path

Several roles, one pattern.

2026

Today

Co-Founder & COO at AVA Dental. Passive roles as advisor and investor at PCSH-Systems and Fachkraft Robotics.

2025

DACH reset

Deliberate return to a market with regulatory depth and clearer specialization. Started AVA Dental with Aleks and Daniel. In parallel: chief of staff in medical M&A processes, executive associate at companies with $50M+ rounds, certificate courses at Stanford, Duke and Yale across business, finance, psychology and law.

2021 — 2024

Delaware & Florida, USA

Solo founder of Noura under PSH-Innovations Inc. Three years of buildout, shut down end of 2024. The phase I use as a filter for every decision today.

IV. Strengths

How I work.

Paul Schulte-Hunsbeck — Composure
i.

First-principles thinking

Break complex problems apart, isolate the core question, simplify without trivializing. My only allowed thinking mistake is not having gone back far enough.

ii.

Game theory & negotiation

Cialdini, adversarial logic, Nash equilibria as tools — not academia. I plan how I negotiate.

iii.

Sales from day one

Outreach, discovery, close, customer feedback loops. Owner role, not delegated. Anyone who delegates this builds on the wrong foundation.

iv.

Building systems

KPIs, meeting structures, data logic, hiring pipelines. What needs to be repeatable becomes a system.

v.

Bridge strategy ↔ operations

Big picture plus operational detail in one person. The connecting link between customer reality, product, team and strategy.

V. Values

How I decide.

Radical candor.

Direct, not cruel. What matters gets surfaced early, explicitly, respectfully. Strength and loyalty beat niceness.

Meritocracy.

Decisions along competence, proximity to the problem, quality of argument — not title, not hierarchy, not volume.

Data over feelings.

Feedback loops as religion. When data contradicts intuition, data is usually closer to the truth. Intuition is trainable, not oracular.

Rational optimism.

Pessimism is intellectually lazy. Real optimists work on solutions instead of admiring problems.

Humanism.

No lies, no gossip, no games with people. Anyone who breaks this loses my trust — permanently.

VI. Personal

Outside the companies.

Discipline outside work is a prerequisite, not a counterweight. The muscles I need for building, I train in the morning.

Paul Schulte-Hunsbeck — Schwimmen
Swimming — discipline in disguise.
VII. Voices

People I have worked with.

He excels at negotiation and creative thinking. He achieves his goals not just through words, but through relentless execution and repeated attempt. Even with failure — he’ll stay positive and continue to grind until he gets there.
Lirikka Zhang — Founder, Lawyer & Operator
Happy to have had him as an executive associate. Curious how his story will continue — I’ll be following him.
Jan Mundin — Co-Founder & COO, Buena GmbH
Exceptional thinker — engaged, proactive, and strong in execution.
Thiemo Komischke — Founder & CEO, Picologic GmbH
